Description

You will design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework to ensure software quality across web and API layers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python, applying Page Object Model, data-driven, and hybrid patterns.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications across multiple browsers and validate APIs.
• Perform performance testing using JMeter and conduct feasibility analysis to identify automation opportunities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git, ensuring seamless delivery.
• Analyze automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers and QA teams in Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation engineering.
• Strong expertise in Python for custom keyword development and scripting.
• Proficiency with Robot Framework, including creating custom keywords and libraries.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation.
• Experience with API testing and performance testing tools, preferably JMeter.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control with Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to process improvements.
• Familiarity with database validation within automated test suites.
