Description

Lead the design and maintenance of automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or Selenium with JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
• Build and manage automation framework architectures from scratch, utilizing Page Object and Page Factory patterns.
• Execute manual, API, and database testing to validate software functionality and performance.
• Identify, log, and track defects while collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Manage stakeholder interactions and participate in technical discussions to align testing strategies with project requirements.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium for web application coverage.
• Expertise in API testing using Postman, including framework design and collection management.
• Experience with database testing and functional testing.
• Proven track record of working within Agile delivery methodologies.
• B.Tech (CS/IT) or equivalent degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large, intricate automation frameworks.
