Description

Own the automation strategy for financial services software, ensuring release stability through rigorous testing of microservices and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API and microservice endpoints.
• Execute cross-browser testing to validate UI consistency and functionality across client environments.
• Analyze test results to identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers on root cause analysis and fixes.
• Coach the QA team on best practices for test management, reporting, and process improvement.
• Validate defect resolution by re-running tests to ensure patches do not introduce regressions.

Required Skills

• 7-10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in API testing and validating microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server for data validation and test data management.
• Experience with cross-browser testing tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Greenwood Village, CO, or Omaha, NE.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience with Cucumber and Gherkin for behavior-driven development (BDD) tests.
• Familiarity with Playwright for modern web automation.
