Key Responsibilities

• Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber and integrate them with automation scripts
• Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured Postman Playwrights API capabilities
• Create and maintain data driven and modular automation frameworks
• Collaborate with developers QA and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Integrate automation suites with CICD pipelines eg Jenkins Azure DevOps
• Analyze test results report defects and ensure timely resolution

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript TypeScript Playwright or Java for API testing
• Handson experience with Playwright for API automation
• Proficiency in Cucumber for BDD and writing Gherkin scenarios
• Experience in API testing REST SOAP and tools like REST Assured Postman or Playwright API
• Knowledge of TestNG JUnit if Java based or equivalent frameworks
• Familiarity with Git Maven Gradle and CICD tools
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
