Description

You will define the technical strategy and architecture for complex data platform integration and migration projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of data migration strategies from existing platforms to target cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake.
• Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and reference architectures for target state.
• Implement cloud and data governance controls and provide technical guidance on target state solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and communicate status and risks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in technology design, architecture, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud platforms and data services.
• Significant experience migrating cloud and on-premise data platforms and data warehouses to cloud ecosystems.
• Hands-on knowledge of implementing data and cloud governance controls.
• Proficiency with S3, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Dataiku, and Alteryx.
• Experience building platform roadmaps and defining architecture strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for architecting complex data solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
