Description

Lead enterprise engagements to assess and mature AWS cloud usage, automation, and DevOps practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and document architecture standards, reference architectures, and solution architectures.
• Build scalable technology solutions that enable customers to scale operations into the public cloud.
• Drive enterprise architecture programs and define technology direction for customers.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and advisory services to engineers and junior architects.
• Participate in Agile sprints and provide technical input to project leadership.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in information technology, enterprise data-center technologies, and private cloud.
• 10+ years of design and implementation experience with distributed applications and systems.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience architecting solutions on AWS.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Landing Zones using Control Tower, Service Catalog, and AWS IAM.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Hashicorp templates.
• Proficiency with automation and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, Chef, and Puppet.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python or JavaScript.
• Experience designing for high availability, disaster recovery, and AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Preferred Skills

• AWS cloud certifications.
• Working knowledge of VMware, KVM, or other virtualization software.
