Description

Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architectures for application backends while owning the infrastructure lifecycle from code to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architectures for backend services.
• Configure and manage core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Monitor system performance and optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and high availability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Strong experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes or ECS.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus.
• Solid understanding of networking and AWS security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional).
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional).
