Description

You will own the performance, availability, and scalability of the public cloud environment through hands-on engineering and architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new on-premises and AWS cloud resources using industry best practices.
• Migrate existing on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud environments.
• Configure AWS cloud monitoring and alerts to ensure resource availability.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and data teams on project planning and technical implementation.
• Identify emerging technologies for cloud-native workloads to accelerate cloud transformation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing AWS cloud resources and on-premises infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience migrating on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
• 5+ years of experience configuring AWS cloud monitoring and alerts.
• Hands-on experience with AWS SSO, Kinesis Firehose, SQS, SNS, S3, Direct Connect Gateway, and Transit Gateway.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services including RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and Alexa.
• 2+ years of experience managing AWS infrastructure services such as EC2, VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups, and Resource Groups.
• High degree of knowledge in networking, IAM Roles, and Policies.
• Deep understanding of IT security and enterprise-level application architecture diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working closely with application development and data engineering teams.
