Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in cloud platform engineering, security, and operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can independently design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and compliant AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage secure and scalable AWS cloud environments
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and operational excellence
• Lead cloud initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision
• Enable secure self-service cloud capabilities for application teams
• Identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies and drive improvements
• Develop automation using Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with built-in security controls

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, including:
  • IAM & least privilege access
  • Identity governance at organization level
  • Logging, monitoring, and auditing
  • Encryption & data protection
  • Configuration management & drift prevention
• Experience implementing preventive and detective security controls
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (security gates, approvals)
• Proven ability to work independently and drive initiatives

Nice to Have

• AWS Networking (VPC, Subnets, Routing, DNS)
• Multi-account architecture (Control Tower / Account Factory)
• Compliance frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / Security / SysOps) – Must-have preferred
• Containers (ECS/EKS) or Serverless (Lambda)
