Description

You will design, implement, and test Python applications within multi-tier architectures. You will build data pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Python applications using object-oriented, parallel, and multi-threaded programming.
• Build data pipelines using AWS Glue, EMR, Spark, and Step Functions.
• Implement metadata solutions leveraging non-relational services like DynamoDB and ElastiCache.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and security using CloudFormation, IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
• Execute development tasks within an Agile project framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or application development.
• Expertise in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, AppSync, EventBridge, and S3.
• Proficiency with AWS data tools: Glue, EMR, Spark, and RDS.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of cloud-native data warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Java or Scala programming experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Big Data Certification.
