Description

Build and maintain real-time payment solutions for the banking sector using AWS serverless technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure AWS Lambda functions using Java, Node.js, or Python, implementing IAM roles, KMS, and pseudonymization.
• Design and deploy serverless architectures using AWS SAM and Cloud Development Kit (CDK), including SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
• Integrate core AWS services including RDS, Kafka, ELB, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EventBridge, and Secret Manager.
• Write and maintain unit tests using Mocha and define API specifications in Swagger Hub.
• Manage encryption and decryption of PII data in transit and at rest, ensuring compliance with security best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS Cloud applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Node.js, with demonstrated experience in service development and testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Kafka, and EventBridge.
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting.
• Experience with Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of advanced networking concepts including Transit Gateway, VPC endpoints, and multi-account connectivity.
• Understanding of security best practices, including IAM, KMS, and PII data protection.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Step Functions and Serverless Application Model (SAM).
• Background in real-time payment systems or the banking sector.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug in a Linux environment.
