Description

Manage global enterprise platforms, monitoring systems, and infrastructure availability on AWS. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure application availability, latency, and system health for production environments.
• Develop configuration scripts and implement logging and indexing strategies for Amazon-hosted infrastructure.
• Maintain monitoring templates, BigPanda integrations, and CMDB integrations.
• Oversee capacity planning, system updates, and internal integrations.
• Mentor support personnel and coordinate escalations with DevOps and Problem Management teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total IT experience with 4+ years running production systems on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog for site and log monitoring.
• Proficiency with AWS services: EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and Cognito.
• Experience with Serverless architectures and CloudFormation.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and Couchbase.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Windows Server/IIS.
• Practical knowledge of Ansible and automated build pipelines/CI.
• Strong command of Git or SVN for repository management.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
