Description

You will build and manage data orchestration for Snowflake environments and surrounding infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance data orchestration for Snowflake data warehouse management, entitlements, pipelines, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain optimized, highly available data pipelines for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Modelers, Data Engineers, Analysts, and Architects to execute target state strategies.
• Perform data requirement capture and analysis to meet project specifications.
• Liaise with embedded data teams and consumers in data science and business analytics.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in databases, data warehouses, Data and Analytics, or technology operations.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Serverless, Container, Queueing, and Monitoring.
• Expertise in AWS Cloud Data practices, specifically Lambda and CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Snowflake.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for data orchestration.
• Working knowledge of data interchange formats including Parquet, JSON, and CSV.
• Understanding of Cloud security, compliance, privacy, and GDPR.
• Ability to manage data security, privacy, and governance requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
