Description

You will architect and manage AWS-based Big Data environments to support analytical teams and data scientists. You advise on data store selection, define architectural roadmaps, and ensure data availability for product releases. You partner with Software Engineering and Data Engineering peers on technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Architect AWS-based Big Data environments for large analytic teams.
• Advise analytical teams on selecting appropriate data stores and environments.
• Roadmap architecture and recommend toolsets for future analytical requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure data availability.
• Partner with Software Engineering and Data Engineering on technical implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud architecture.
• Extensive experience with AWS-based Big Data environments.
• Proficiency with the Talend Big Data Platform.
• Experience managing high-volume operational datastores.
• Experience with cloud-based Kafka or similar messaging infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD automation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
