Description

You will architect and manage AWS-based Big Data environments to support analytical teams and data scientists.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage AWS-based Big Data environments for large analytic teams.
• Advise analytical teams on selecting appropriate data stores and defining architectural roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure data availability for product releases.
• Partner with Software Engineering and Data Engineering peers on technical implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud architecture.
• Extensive experience with AWS-based Big Data environments.
• Proficiency with the Talend Big Data Platform.
• Experience managing high-volume operational datastores.
• Experience with cloud-based Kafka or similar messaging infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD automation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
