Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems using Python and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write well-tested, efficient, and reusable code following strict source control and CI/CD best practices.
• Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, ECS, and Step Functions.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while producing clear documentation.
• Develop event-driven systems using message queues and integrate with NoSQL and relational databases.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to enhance productivity and code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of production experience writing Python code.
• Proficiency with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, and DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of Git, unit testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with Agile processes, including planning, estimating, and demos.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS CDK, and C++.
• Knowledge of AI application development using Bedrock, LangChain, vector databases, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
