Description

You will design and implement Azure cloud architectures to support agency-level objectives and security requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Advise on architecture and security concerns for in-place migrations, refactoring, and lift-and-shift strategies.
• Recommend transitions from on-premises environments to cloud-native architectures.
• Conduct testing within Azure to demonstrate minimum viable products of proposed architectures.
• Configure Azure-based services to meet specific agency requirements.
• Document technical solutions through position papers and formal architecture documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud design, including single and multi-cloud strategies.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure network and storage architectures.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Services including Azure Key Vault and Entra ID.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Functions, Web Apps, Containers, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• 5+ years of experience implementing cloud security principles such as zero-trust, network segmentation, and conditional access.
• 5+ years of experience managing cloud security posture, vulnerability remediation, and encryption in transit.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and non-relational products like Cosmos DB.
• 5+ years of experience as an on-premises architect.
• 5+ years of experience architecting solutions to meet RPO and RTO objectives.
• Microsoft Certification in Azure Solutions Architect (minimum 2 years).
