Description

You will design and deliver secure cloud solutions on Azure while providing architectural support as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop detailed architecture models for test, development, and production environments.
  • Lead the development of technical artifacts, including security architecture plans and detailed technical designs.
  • Run chaos engineering experiments to define steady state behavior and assess the impact of real-world events.
  • Build automation into systems to drive orchestration, analysis, and continuous integration/delivery.
  • Integrate cloud services with on-premises technologies, including VMware, Cisco, and Nutanix.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering roles.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud platform design and delivery.
  • Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Formation and automation frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of virtual networks and network management functions.
  • Experience with cloud cost management and large-scale workload migrations.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or PCI.
  • Ability to consult with stakeholders and vendor specialists to ensure technology compliance.
