Description

You will design, implement, and manage secure Azure architectures and security controls.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel SIEM.
• Implement network security controls including NSGs, firewalls, and private endpoints.
• Develop cloud governance and security policies using Azure Policy and Blueprints.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines through DevSecOps practices.
• Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response for cloud workloads.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 2+ years focused on Azure security.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Defender, Sentinel, Security Center, Key Vault, and Log Analytics.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or Terraform.
• Deep understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS security models.
• Knowledge of zero-trust architecture, SIEM/SOAR, and threat detection.
• Strong grasp of network security principles including encryption, VPN, and DNS.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, GDPR, or HIPAA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ISO standards and regulatory compliance auditing.
