Description

You will design and execute an enterprise-wide plan for data and agile work item migrations, focusing on transitioning technical teams to a central tracking tool.

Responsibilities

• Develop a standardized migration path for moving teams to a central work item tracking tool.
• Implement migration strategies using a pilot team to refine processes before enterprise-wide distribution.
• Streamline migration efforts to reduce costs and implementation timelines across the organization.
• Leverage APIs and direct SQL access to manage TFS on-prem data transitions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in DevOps or data migration.
• Deep familiarity with Azure DevOps migration tool options.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps work items, including area paths and configurations.
• Experience managing TFS on-prem data via APIs or Direct SQL Data Access.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps Server.
• Ability to write scripts and perform REST API calls.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Experience working within Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
