Description

You will own the architecture and development of scalable backend systems and AI agent tooling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs, including database schemas.
• Develop custom tools and skills for AI agents, orchestrating multi-agent workflows.
• Own the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions, eliminating reliance on dedicated DevOps.
• Plan features and rapidly prototype solutions using AI tools, iterating based on feedback.
• Host MCP servers and extend AI capabilities beyond simple consumption.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend architecture and development.
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
• 1+ year of experience in AI-native engineering and agent tooling.
• Strong experience building and maintaining microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing and hosting MCP servers.
• Self-directed problem solving with the ability to grasp unfamiliar codebases quickly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks for front-end development.
• Experience with GCP cloud infrastructure.
