Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP and Commerce Tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database schemas that support complex business processes.
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases into unified systems.
• Manage user authentication and authorization across various systems and environments.
• Mitigate security risks by addressing common PHP and web server exploits.
• Apply fundamental design principles to build scalable applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and PHP web frameworks.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented PHP programming and MVC design patterns.
• Knowledge of PHP's synchronous behavior and platform limitations.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and declarative query languages.
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Understanding of web security compliance and common exploits.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field of study.
