Description

Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services and AI-powered applications using Python and Azure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade REST APIs using FastAPI and Python.
• Design and optimize SQL database schemas and queries for high-performance applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage DevOps processes for Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Support existing production systems and drive independent delivery of technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST API architecture.
• Extensive experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Proven track record in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work independently as a strong individual contributor.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, or Anthropic APIs.
• Background in building AI-powered applications.
• Familiarity with Databricks.
