Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems and APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain backend systems using Node.js.
• Optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and debug server-side performance issues.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years professional experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Extensive knowledge of Node.js ecosystem (Express.js, NestJS).
• Proficiency in MongoDB, including aggregation pipelines and indexing.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Solid grasp of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with microservices architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Ability to work in an agile environment.
