Description

You will design and program the backends of data-centric applications from conception to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and program backends using C# and .NET in collaboration with domain experts.
• Specify database schemas, queries, and interfaces to in-memory objects.
• Consume and produce web APIs while marshalling data effectively.
• Handle backend authentication, validation, caching, scaling, and parallelization requirements.
• Implement secure techniques to maintain data confidentiality and integrity.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of total professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience as a backend web application developer.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for Single Page Applications.
• Extensive experience with SQL and relational database design and programming.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform and CI/CD frameworks.
• Proven ability in multi-module, database-backed application development.
• Experience with object-oriented library development, management, and publishing.
• Strong debugging and performance analysis capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial services.
• Integration with market APIs such as Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, or Tibco.
