Engineer backend solutions focused on big data processing and pipeline optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data processing pipelines using batch and stream-based approaches.
• Optimize big data systems for quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Develop solutions leveraging big data databases including SingleStore, BigQuery, and relational databases.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for infrastructure support and deployment.
• Manage end-to-end data pipeline lifecycle with a focus on reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java programming.
• 3+ years of experience with streaming technologies, specifically Red Panda.
• Deep familiarity with Big Data concepts and processing patterns.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, specifically GCP.
• Proficiency in designing and managing data pipelines (batch and stream).
• Familiarity with big data databases such as SingleStore or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with relational databases.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data observability mechanisms and tools.
• Experience with big data processing technologies like Apache Spark.
