Description

You will build and maintain distributed systems using Java, Docker, and Kubernetes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices and distributed system components.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies using TDD and BDD practices.
• Develop and manage REST APIs and event-driven services.
• Containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java programming.
• Proficiency with JUnit, TDD, and Cucumber.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring FX frameworks.
• Hands-on knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Experience building and integrating with Kafka for event streaming.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, JWT, and OAuth security patterns.
• Experience developing on macOS.
• Cloud platform experience.
