You will own the backend infrastructure and platform systems for distributed applications, ensuring robust architecture and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the complete backend architecture for core applications.
• Develop, expose, and consume REST APIs to support application needs.
• Design and manage backend infrastructure systems within a distributed environment.
• Optimize SQL queries, joins, and relational database performance.
• Operate within an Agile development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including passing algorithmic coding challenges.
• Extensive experience developing REST APIs using the Flask framework.
• Strong background in distributed systems architecture.
• Deep expertise with PostgreSQL and relational database management, including SQL optimization.
• Experience with ORM frameworks.
• Practical experience with AWS services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing containerized workloads in production environments.
