Description

You will build and maintain scalable payment services, designing REST APIs for mobile, web, and third-party applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST APIs for mobile, web, and third-party applications.
• Own merchant-facing services from initial development through deployment and production monitoring.
• Partner with Infrastructure teams to design data models for high-availability services.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design and code reviews.
• Participate in a regular on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Google Pub/Sub.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically MySQL.
• Expertise in API design and REST APIs.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Payments domain experience.
• Experience with scalability, high availability, and monitoring tools like Grafana or Datadog.
• Google Cloud Platform experience.
