Description

You will build and maintain a message translation layer to facilitate communication between billing platforms and downstream provisioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop a translation layer to convert XML-based billing messages into TMF-compliant JSON formats.
• Build and manage data flows between billing platforms and internet, voice, and video service systems.
• Integrate messaging components using Kafka as a queuing architecture.
• Collaborate with QA testers, vendors, and other developers to ensure successful service enablement.
• Deploy applications through build pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for queuing architecture.
• Strong understanding of XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience implementing REST and SOAP-based APIs.
• Working knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Telecom, Video, and high-speed data platforms.
• Experience developing and deploying systems in OpenShift or similar container technologies.
