Sr. BI Engineer

You will design and develop data visualization solutions and ETL workflows to support business intelligence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop Tableau dashboards and Prep Flows to deliver actionable data insights.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and Alteryx workflows.
• Optimize SQL queries and relational database architecture for performance and efficiency.
• Implement best practices for Tableau and Alteryx regarding design, governance, administration, and security.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment using JIRA to manage development lifecycles.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Tableau Dashboard and Prep Flow development.
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• 2+ years of experience in Alteryx development.
• Advanced SQL knowledge, including query authoring and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with AWS technologies: EC2, ECS, VPC, S3, RDS, and Redshift.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and database architecture.
• Experience working across Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Incident Response and Change Management lifecycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in the Insurance or Finance industries.
• Familiarity with design prototyping tools such as Figma.
