Description

You will design, develop, and support Looker-based dashboards and LookML logic across multiple cloud and on-prem data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LookML logic to launch new Looks and dashboards based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business owners and data warehouse teams to identify requirements for new data marts and warehouses.
• Develop efficient LookML data models that integrate various data sources and publications.
• Partner with architects and project managers to create BI artifacts and assets for organization-wide use.
• Mentor junior personnel in design, implementation, and professional development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence engineering.
• Advanced Looker development with in-depth knowledge of LookML features and capabilities.
• Strong experience interfacing Looker with Google BigQuery or comparable data warehouses.
• Expertise in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of GCP products, specifically Data Fusion and BigQuery.
• Experience with Tableau or other BI tools.
• Ability to work during non-business hours as required.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in HTML and Javascript for UI/UX development within and outside Looker.
