Description

You will design and develop complex Big Data and analytics solutions across the full SDLC.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design application frameworks, technical architectures, and functional designs based on user requirements.
• Develop and code Big Data, BI, and UI applications, including database objects, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Implement data transfer workflows and frameworks to import data from RDBMS sources into Hadoop.
• Maintain security and governance policies while directing testing and QA procedures.
• Coordinate application deployment, support, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development or systems analysis.
• 2+ years of professional experience with Oracle, SSIS, HDFS, Hive, Python, and C#.
• Proficiency with Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Pig, MapReduce, and Sqoop.
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, and SSIS.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical design documents using algorithms and flowcharts.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, C#, SSRS, Qlikview, Attunity, Alteryx, and Shell Script.
• Familiarity with Spark SQL, Ranger, GitHub, and ODBC.
