Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to drive stakeholder consensus and resolve conflicts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, quality, and IT, to ensure successful project implementation.
- Identify and address project issues, risks, and dependencies to mitigate challenges.
- Mentor and guide other business analysts by sharing best practices and providing feedback.
- Conduct research to identify process improvement opportunities and provide optimization recommendations.
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with requirement gathering techniques and documentation standards.
- Working knowledge of backend development systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and conducting user interviews.
- Insurance software experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification.
- Knowledge of insurance industry-specific standards and regulations.
