Description

Owns the full business analysis lifecycle, from requirements gathering and functional design to testing and production support for accounting and licensing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and system issues, translating needs into configuration and development specifications for the SDLC.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, authoring use cases and functional design documents for stakeholder approval.
• Manage testing cycles, including writing test cases, coordinating UAT, and partnering with QA teams on larger projects.
• Provide production support by monitoring issue resolution, escalating critical problems, and minimizing business impact.
• Assist project managers with scheduling, status reporting, and vendor coordination to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis with a focus on accounting or sub-ledger systems.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Asana, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and business analysis methodologies.
• Experience with third-party packages and licensing/royalty processes.
• Ability to multi-task between production support, analysis, and project tracking with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• CCBA certification.
• Degree in Computer Science or Technology.
