Sr Business Analyst

You will lead the specification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for mission-critical business applications within web and client-server environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions.
• Translate complex business needs into functional application and operational requirements.
• Facilitate requirements elicitation and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups, including executives and subject matter experts.
• Estimate work levels accurately to meet delivery commitments to stakeholders.
• Develop technical and user documentation to support software conversions and implementations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience specifying and documenting requirements for mission-critical applications.
• Expertise in data analysis, data structures, data manipulation, and database management.
• Proficiency with Waterfall, RUP, and Agile SDLC processes.
• Strong background in various requirements elicitation methods and process-driven analysis.
• Experience with application software writing, testing, and implementation.
• Ability to work across mainframe, mid-range, and personal computer environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven leadership and presentation skills for interacting with management and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• BA/BS degree or equivalent in a technology-related field.
