You will bridge business needs and technical implementation through detailed research, analysis, and documentation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to create detailed as-is and to-be business processes and requirements.
• Transform defined business needs into functional software requirements and use cases.
• Assist project managers and IT leadership in optimizing solution scope, benefits, and risks.
• Create and review manuals, procedures, and user documentation for specific audiences.
• Manage expectations for both users and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Expertise in eliciting requirements through interviewing and listening skills.
• Proficiency in creating process diagrams, role and accountability diagrams, and journey maps.
• Experience using reporting and workflow tools to improve business processes.
• Ability to present complex concepts via concise narratives and business-focused storyboards.
• Strong collaboration skills with IT management, software vendors, and contractors.
• Proven ability to manage project commitments and schedules with high self-motivation.
• Skill in drafting effective requirements documents for stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining test plans, testing strategies, and test case execution.
• Previous experience in Government IT environments.
• Experience defining rollout, training, and user support plans.
