You bridge the gap between clients and development teams through requirements gathering, technical documentation, and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Document current system workflows, business processes, and functional requirements using use cases, traceability matrices, and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct interviews and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with stakeholders to validate and improve business requirements.
• Create and maintain software documentation, including User Manuals, User Guides, and quarterly newsletters.
• Support testing, deployment activities, and Quality Assurance tasks.
• Provide direct customer support, including issue analysis and resolution within specified SLAs and Help Desk support.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a customer-facing IT Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with JIRA for requirements and task management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel (including Pivot tables), and PowerPoint.
• Experience in data analysis and requirements management.
• Proven ability to facilitate groups and elicit stakeholder input.
• Ability to draft technical documentation and training materials.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of user interface (UI) and application usability.
• Experience performing Quality Assurance and testing tasks.
