You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical solutions by defining, documenting, and validating system requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, define, and document user requirements to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives.
• Partner with development, testing, and project management teams to validate requirements and organize information.
• Ensure accurate deployment of solutions by reviewing problem logs, validating test plans, and analyzing test matrices.
• Guide technical and customer departments in system development and the transfer of operational knowledge.
• Mentor less experienced business systems analysts and provide guidance on project prioritization.

Required Skills

• 6 years of IT business analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Visio and MS Project or similar project management software.
• Hands-on experience with data mining using DB2 and SQL.
• Ability to read and comment on test plans, test matrices, and design documents.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conceptual understanding of project management techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
• HIPAA or LOMA certification.
