Description

Own business resumption and application recovery documentation for mainframe and client-server environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Interview stakeholders to define application recovery requirements and document existing business resumption processes.
• Complete application recovery templates and produce gap analysis with mitigation recommendations for process risks.
• Act as a hands-on Project Manager using MS Project to track timelines, status, risks, and client engagement.
• Enter deliverables into ServiceNow and guide team members through documentation tasks.
• Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical functions and define RTO/RPO.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Business Analyst experience in IT or enterprise program environments.
• Strong understanding of Information Systems Contingency Planning (ISCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) principles.
• Hands-on experience with Business Impact Analysis (BIA), RTO/RPO definition, and audit-ready documentation.
• Proficiency with Jira, SharePoint, and ServiceNow for tracking and workflow management.
• Excellent technical writing skills for producing clear plans, SOPs, and evidence packages.
• Experience managing project plans, dependencies, and reporting status to leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe and client-server application architectures.
• Ability to function as a working manager coordinating cross-functional activities.
