You will design and develop software solutions for manufactured avionics components, interfacing with custom hardware using .NET.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop .NET software solutions to interface with custom hardware components.
• Collaborate with Product, System, and Software Engineers to integrate software into existing architectures.
• Write high-quality tests to verify functionality and assist in migrating legacy systems to modern frameworks.
• Participate in frequent code reviews and document product design and implementation.
• Mentor less experienced developers to maintain high-quality software standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in C# and object-oriented design.
• Strong experience with .NET and design patterns.
• Experience debugging and problem-solving with software/hardware components (e.g., camera systems, helmets, heads-up displays).
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source control, build processes, and testing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Full stack development experience using C# WinForms, WPF, or MAUI.
• Experience developing integrated software and hardware solutions or interfacing with test and measurement equipment.
• Domain knowledge of avionics products.
