You will design and manage technical drawings using CAD software.
Responsibilities
Create and revise civil and electrical design drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD based on engineering markups.
Apply design expertise to produce accurate drawings from verbal instructions, sketches, and field measurements.
Develop and maintain CAD standards, work methods, and libraries of 2D/3D parts to improve drawing clarity.
Maintain and update electronic drawings within the company’s document management system.
Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline workflows, such as combining PDFs and optimizing document handling.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Experience with scripting tools including PowerShell, Python, and VBA.
Familiarity with raster drawings in CAD.
Working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
Experience developing or maintaining SharePoint sites.
Experience with FileNet Fusion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting Technology (or equivalent) with 3–7 years of experience OR 5–11 years of experience with at least 30 credit hours completed in an approved technical program OR 8–17 years of equivalent experience without a degree.
