Description

You will own the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco routers and switches across LAN, WAN, and data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Cisco hardware in LAN, WAN, and data center environments.
• Resolve complex incidents spanning wireless, converged voice, and multi-domain network technologies.
• Execute project engineering functions, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.
• Mentor technical teams and present infrastructure performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with internal IT service management and application operations teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience integrating and implementing Cisco network architecture.
• Current Cisco CCNP R&S certification.
• Proficiency with NX-OS, IOS, and IOS XE Routing and Switching.
• Experience with Cisco routers including 2900, 3900, 4300, 4400, ASR 1000, and 7200 series.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches (2900, 3700, 3850, 4500, 6509 VSS) and Nexus series (1000V, 3000, 5000, 7000).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers and ASA 5500 firewalls.
• Knowledge of MDS 9134 SAN Switches.
• Strong wireless troubleshooting and converged voice/QoS experience.
• Ability to explain complex technical tradeoffs to non-technical audiences.
