Description

You will design and build Hadoop-based reporting and analytical applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert functional requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Execute documentation, development, and testing phases for analytical applications.
• Prepare unit, SIT, and UAT test cases and manage result logging.
• Coordinate SIT and UAT testing cycles and implement necessary remediations.
• Drive small projects individually and manage change and deployment timelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE or the Data Warehousing domain.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Big Data tools including Hive, Spark, and HDFS ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala programming.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Linux Shell scripting.
• Experience with Control-M scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps deployment using Git, Jenkins, and Rundeck.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Lily analytics activities.
