Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and data-centric services on AWS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services using Java, Quarkus, and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain streaming data pipelines and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services including AWS Lambda, Aurora, Glue, and Redshift.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and ROSA/OpenShift.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience focusing on cloud-based platforms and microservices.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, Aurora, ElastiCache, Glue, and Redshift.
• Experience with container orchestration using ROSA, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
• Expertise in API design and development for data services.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Angular.
• Competency with CI/CD tools including Git, Jenkins, or CodePipeline.
• Ability to manage databases including Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
