Description

You will design, build, and maintain core shared infrastructure and enterprise-scale AWS account lifecycles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain distributed systems in AWS using streaming and messaging technologies like Kafka or Pulsar.
• Build and manage core infrastructure utilizing Route53, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, and AWS Organizations.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure services meet performance, availability, and scalability requirements.
• Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and system maintenance.
• Document architecture, implementation, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AWS engineering (EC2, RDS, EKS, ECS, S3, EBS, IAM, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Organizations).
• Strong experience with Pulsar, Kafka, or similar streaming and messaging technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Proven ability to design distributed shared infrastructure using a mix of on-premise, SaaS, and AWS cloud services.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking, security, automation, and performance optimization.
• Strong Linux and Windows Systems Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, CI/CD, and scripting.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AppDynamics, Prometheus (Grafana), or Splunk.
