Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications within an automated DevSecOps cloud environment. You will migrate existing applications to the cloud and develop AWS cloud-native solutions while implementing database and data storage strategies. Your work will include developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines integrated with testing, code quality, and security scans. You will plan and implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning. Additionally, you will configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test scalable software solutions using Java technologies and frameworks.
• Migrate existing applications to the cloud and develop AWS cloud-native solutions.
• Implement database and data storage solutions using SQL technologies.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines integrated with testing, code quality, and security scans.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• In-depth experience with Java, J2EE, OpenJDK, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful Web Services, JAX, XML, or Python.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining complex enterprise applications in AWS, including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, ELB, ALB, and Aurora RDS.
• Experience with database technologies and SQL, specifically MySQL, Aurora MySQL, Aurora Postgres, and Liquibase.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, GitLab Runner, SonarQube, Apache Maven, Tenable, NPM, and Nexus Lifecycle.
• Experience with containerization and IaC tools including Docker, Fargate, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization via Kerberos or Okta.
• Experience with monitoring tools including Systems Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager, Instana, Splunk, or QRadar.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies and Rally.
• AWS or DevSecOps certifications.
