Description

You will administer Kubernetes EKS clusters and manage their lifecycle to ensure high reliability, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Kubernetes EKS clusters across multiple production environments.
• Troubleshoot and triage complex issues related to EC2, VPC networking, DNS, and storage.
• Collaborate with Security, Development, and Operations teams on AWS infrastructure requests.
• Lead and mentor junior engineering team members.
• Participate in the shared on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure design and implementation.
• 2+ years administering a Kubernetes EKS cluster in production.
• Strong experience identifying and remediating Kubernetes vulnerabilities.
• Expertise in AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, Route53, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in container platform infrastructure in AWS (EKS, ECS).
• Ability to code and script using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS CloudFormation using YAML and/or JSON.
• Experience with systems monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub within an Agile framework.
