Description

You will design and manage highly-available, multi-zonal, and multi-regional systems on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage multi-zonal and multi-regional cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Deploy and support IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services using Infrastructure as Code and idempotent tooling.
• Manage container orchestration engines, specifically Kubernetes, to support scalable workloads.
• Build and maintain self-service platforms to accelerate developer productivity.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across automation and cloud environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLabCI and ArgoCD.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related support role.
• Advanced experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and repeatable deployment tooling.
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes.
• Experience with API-driven secrets management, including HashiCorp Vault and Google Cloud Secrets Manager.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) in cloud and on-premise contexts.
• Experience managing infrastructure CI/CD pipelines with GitLabCI and ArgoCD.
• Working knowledge of access management and the principle of least privilege.
• Ability to use Jira for task and project management.

Preferred Skills

• Multi-cloud experience with AWS and Azure.
• Cloud certifications in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience assisting development teams with shift-left practices.
