Description

You will lead the migration of on-premises applications and data to AWS, focusing on networking and security for modernized architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture and design decisions regarding AWS service selection and component interactions.
• Plan and define the end-to-end migration lifecycle for applications and databases.
• Automate deployment pipelines for Spring Boot microservices to EKS using DevSecOps practices.
• Develop Terraform scripts to manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Manage networking configurations between modernized applications and existing on-premises or cloud services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Database Migrations, and Database Optimization/Tuning.
• 7-10 years of advanced experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
• Expertise in AWS core services: RDS, Aurora, ECS, EKS, S3, VPC, ELB, Route53, and CloudFront.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong background in networking considerations for cloud-native applications.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Must be a US Citizen or US Person (Green Card).

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Architect.
• Working experience with AWS Fargate.
